Casapinka's latest pattern, a cute striped poncho called Noncho. Knit in DK weight yarn in two or three colors, it looks like it will be a great layering piece in many different seasons. The pattern is available on Ravelry.
OK, now to the yarn part of this deal! I've put together kits with 3 different yarns to choose from, at three different price points:
Kingston Tweed - each kit comes with 6 skeins, one color A, 3 color B, 2 color C; this is enough yarn to knit sizes 1-5; if you would like to add yarn to knit size 6-7, you can add these skeins separately. This yarn is 50% wool/25% alpaca/25% viscose.
Mugma Makes DK - hand dyed 100% superwash Merino yarn from a dyer here in Cambridge WI, these kits come with 2 skeins for color B, and 2 skeins for color C. It does not come with a contrast color for the top and bottom of the Noncho (See the two color version in the photo). There is enough yarn in the kit to knit sizes 1-4. There is no extra yarn to add to make a larger size, maybe you have a good contrast yarn in your stash?!
Bamboo Pop - for those who are looking for something without wool, or just something a little lighter, here's the kit for you! This yarn is 50% bamboo/50% cotton. Each kit comes with 5 skeins, one color A, 2 color B, 2 color C; this is enough yarn to knit sizes 1-6; if you would like to add yarn to knit size 7, you can add an additional skein separately.
