Learn to Knit Class

Have you ever wanted to learn to knit? Well now is your chance! For this class, we will be knitting the hat pattern Barley, from Tin Can Knits. Hats are a great first project: you learn to knit and purl, knit in the round and do decreases. This pattern is written for first-time hat knitters, so each step is carefully explained.

Class dates: November 5, 12 and December 10 from 8:30-10am. You can choose which dates you would like to join for $15 each, or come to all three for $40!

Class materials you will need to purchase/bring with you: Worsted weight yarn, 200 yards composed of 100% wool or a wool blend; Size #6 and #8 knitting needles, your choice of  16" circular needles or a set of 5 double pointed needles in each size. Materials are available for purchase at the shop prior to class starting. Class size is limited to 6.
