Crafternoon is an event for crafty people to hang out and have a good time, inside with food and entertainment! This year I have help from Laura Gavins of PurlTalk helping me put together another great event. We've got 5 hours to ourselves at the Cambridge Winery to craft, mingle and shop! There will be more vendors this year, and we are working on bringing in more vendors from differing crafts, such as felting, watercolor, embroidery, sewing, etc. The current vendor list is: PurlTalk, had dyed yarns; Four Crows Fibers, hand dyed yarn; Broken Fences Farm, a local shepherd who will be bringing naturally dyed yarns from her flock, as well as ready-made items.
Your ticket to the event will include coffee, iced tea, water, a full lunch including dessert; swag bag; vendors and a discussion are still being worked out! There is also a full bar available, so you can have soft drinks or designate your driver and sample some of the wines while you are relaxing! Please note that the Cambridge Winery does not allow carry in food or beverages.
Please let me know if you would prefer a vegetarian or gluten-free lunch by leaving a comment at checkout when purchasing your tickets.
Please note that the mini-classes will not overlap, they will happen at separate times, so you can sign up for both if you'd like!
NEWLY ADDED! Needle felted gnomes mini class! I Karen Anderson will teach you how to needle felt and create your own gnome during Crafteroon. Class will last 1.5-2 hours, and includes a felting pad, felting needles, and access to my wool stash to create your own gnome during the class. Class is limited to 6 people!
NEWLY ADDED! Potholder Loom mini class! I remember making these as a kid, now they're back and very popular. Pat Bullen, from the Madison Weavers Guild, will teach you how to use your loom to make some fancy potholders during Crafteroon. Class will last 1.5-2 hours, and includes brand new loom kit with loom and tools, plus loops to make 2 potholders. Class is limited to 5 people!
