I'm madly in love with the yarns I've used to the kit! The background yarn is Admiral Starke 6 from Schoppel, a very sooth, uniform sport weight blend of superwash merino and nylon. For these kits you get your choice of navy blue or black for the background color. The contrast yarn is Merge Sport, a non-superwash 100% merino yarn from Yarn Hero in Maryland. This is one of those fun dyed-in-the-wool yarns that is plied to make random stripes, very fun to knit with! The colors in my sample are Girl Crush (Merge Sport) and Navy (Admiral Starke 6).
